‘27 Palms Inn’ shows a continous video loop of a lonely silhouet in a swimming pool in the Californian desert by night. After a while the scene briefly shifts to some shots in a hotel room. Immediately after, the scene starts all over again at the pool, while the song ‘Shine like Suns’ by Wooden Shjips is played over and over again.
